Lana Nielson Royle, M.C., L.C.M.H.C.
Lana joined the Vista group in 2003, where she worked as a lead supervisor in training staff members to work effectively with clients. She has been an integral part of the hiring, training, and mentoring of the Vista staff. Her compassionate and energetic personality creates a welcoming environment for colleagues and clients alike.
Lana worked in admissions for several years, while working with young adults. After working in the mental health field for 17 years in a variety of settings, Lana completed a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling and currently practices as a primary therapist at Vista Sage. Lana worked with young adults at VCS, for many years, before transferring to Vista Sage, to work with the female adolescent population. Lana uses a variety of modalities including CBT, DBT, REBT, and SFBT techniques. She works with clients who have experienced the following: depression, anxiety, trauma, abuse, adoption, substance use disorders, family conflicts, mood disorders, personality disorders, learning disorders, and a variety of other difficulties. She is a member of the American Counseling Association, as well as the Utah Mental Health Counseling Association.
Lana enjoys spending time with her husband and son, enjoys traveling and backpacking to unique places, and promotes being physically healthy and active. She enjoys assisting adolescents and families, in creating new and healthy ways of communicating and creating healthy dynamics between themselves and others.
