Cecil Hedrich, C.S.W.


Cecil has over 10 years’ experience working with teens in addiction recovery. After earning his Masters in Social Work from the University of Utah, he moved to Oklahoma where he worked for a domestic violence and sexual assault agency. Cecil quickly became lead counselor and child advocacy center director. He returned to Vista because of his passion for helping young people reclaim and live their lives. Cecil has an open, caring, and accessible style that is peppered with humor. He uses an assortment of therapeutic techniques including DBT, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, and CBT to help his clients better understand their substance use patterns, face those things they were avoiding, and find and connect to what makes life worth living for them.
Cecil spends his free time on home improvement projects, pottery, nature hikes.
